Picture day Saturday, and the Fall Festival

Shoreline Fall Festival is Saturday, November 7

Games in the morning, then food trucks, a bounce house and the parents vs. U13s match at 2pm. Bring a chair.

A first tournament, two games, two trays of pizza

The U12 Girls played their first tournament on Sunday, the Harvest Cup at Riverbend. They beat Riverbend SC 2-1 in the morning on goals from Ava and Jess, then drew 0-0 with Northfield United, with Ella keeping both halves clean.

Nora played every minute of both games.

Harbor Street Pizza sent two trays for lunch between games. They lasted eleven minutes.

U13 Boys Comeback to Draw Against Stonebridge FC

The U13 Boys faced Stonebridge FC and came back from a 2-0 deficit to finish in a 2-2 draw. Carter scored from a corner, and Mateo tied the game with a long shot just minutes before the final whistle. Ben made a crucial save to keep the team in it, contributing significantly to the comeback effort.

Theo's Goal Leads U10 Boys to Victory

The U10 Boys win 1-0 against the Brookside Rovers. Theo scored in the first half off a pass from Owen, and Jonah recorded a clean sheet.

This match marked the first game of the season in the rain, and nobody wanted to go home.

Coach Dave Mercer

U10 Boys head coach

Q: Jonah's first clean sheet on Saturday. A: He played every minute in goal in June and asked for it again in August. Saturday he had maybe four saves and talked the whole game. Q: Theo keeps scoring. A: He scored from outside the box in May and has tried it every game since. Saturday’s was from inside, which I am counting as growth. Q: The rain? A: Nobody wanted to go home. I have had to end practice twice this month for the same reason. Q: Harwich Valley on Saturday, then the Fall Festival. A: The boys care more about the festival. So do I.

“Nobody wanted to go home.”
