Harper's first goal (her little brother heard first)
Harper Scores First Goal, Zoe Blocks Tie Attempt
The U9 Girls defeated Westmoor FC 4-3. Lily scored two goals, and Harper got her first-ever goal and ran straight to the sideline to tell her little brother. Westmoor almost tied it at the end, but Zoe blocked the shot.
Priya scores a free kick, Ava nets the winner
The U12 Girls won 2-1 against Harwich Valley. Priya scored off a free kick from outside the box in the first half. Harwich tied the game, then Ava won it with a breakaway in the last five minutes.
Nora was strong at the back. Coach Beth said the second half was the hardest they have worked all year.
Four goals at Lakeview
The U13 Boys won 4-1 at Lakeview United. Carter scored twice, Eli headed in a corner, and Mateo scored from outside the box. Lakeview got one back late.
Ben's save at 2-0 kept the game where it was.
Coach Rich said it was the first game on the big field where they were still running at the end.

U9 Girls, forward
Scored her first ever goal against Westmoor, then ran to the sideline mid-game to tell her little brother. The game carried on without her for a few seconds.
“I forgot we were still playing.”
